One of the reasons our footrests and tip toes are a bit more expensive than some of the others available is that we use the best grade of Du Pont nylon available and this does have a premium attached.
We have experimented with other grades but none of them have stood up to the testing rig which stresses the part to 3g. As the footrests are considered a safety item we consider reliability is very important.
